Electronic signatures

Inkly is a tool to place electronic signatures on documents. Whether an electronic signature is valid for a particular document depends on the law that applies to it and on the parties. Electronic signatures are generally valid for everyday agreements in many countries, but some documents (for example wills, certain court and family-law documents, property deeds and notarised papers) may require other forms of signature. Inkly does not give legal advice; you are responsible for checking that an electronic signature is suitable for your document.

Your content

Your documents and signatures stay on your device and remain yours. You are responsible for having the right to sign and share the documents you use with Inkly, and for keeping your own copies.

Acceptable use

Do not use Inkly to forge signatures, to sign on someone else's behalf without permission, or for anything unlawful.

No warranty and liability

Inkly is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
